The HCT-10K 10KW all solid TV transmitter is a new generation of transmitting equipment developed by our company.
The product complies with GB3174 Characteristics of PAL-D Television Broadcasting System; the technical parameters are better than the requirements in GY/T177-2001 Specifications and Methods of Measurement for Television Transmitters and in SJ/T 10351-93 Generic Specification for Television Transmitters.
The equipment is composed of a main/backup exciter, a dual exciter automatic switch, a 8 inch true color control unit, the 8x1500W power amplifiers, an intelligent monitoring system, a synthesizer, the power amplifiers, a filter, a directional coupler, the switching power supplies, and lightning protection systems, etc. Each unit is independent, high modularization, nice appearance, easy operation and maintenance.
² High Reliability:
1. The transmitter has excellent EMC performance and the radiated disturbance, power port disturbance and telecommunication port disturbance parameters meets or exceed the requirements in standard GB13421-1992 and ETS 300 447, the device passed EMC testing of The State Administration of Radio Film and Television in July, 2009.
The transmitter includes protection measures against over-current, over-voltage, overheating, over stationary wave, over exciting, inter lock, losing lock, open-phase, incorrect sequence and lightening, to ensure the work stability. The lightening protection measures, such as using excellent lightening protection device at the power supply line, adding lightening protection measure in all of the switch power input ports, and adopting 3dB combination technology at the output port, the amplifying unit and the antenna are isolated effectively.
2. For different conditions of the stations, the three proofing design are strictly following to the requirements stated in Management Regulations for Three Proofing Design for Military Electronic Equipments, all the metal elements are strictly coated, the chassis and each function modules adopt dustproof design. The equipment is suitable for the use environments of high moist heat, high salt mist and high dust areas.
3. Adopting multiple fans combination radiating, to eliminate single fault point and avoid the possibility of shut down caused by broken fan. As domestic fan has disadvantage of high failure rate and short use life, our company adopts imported EBM from Germany with original packaging. We are the only one company who uses import fan. EBM company guarantee 60,000 hours use life.
4. The equipment uses 6 units of 2300W switch power supplies. The power amplifier module and the switch power supply all use current equalization (one-to-one can also be made according to requirement). With big redundancy capability, any power supply fail will not affect the normal work of the transmitter. The switch power supply has the protection measures against surge, over-voltage, over-current, under voltage, open-phase, etc. Please refer to the detail technical parameters in the manual.
5. No bottlenecks design: the output of the exciter is directly fed to the amplifier plug-in, without any intermediate link; therefore the reliability is very high.
² Advance Features
1. The transmitter adopts full digitization function; it can be converted from analog to digital only by changing the exciter.
2. All the power synthesizers of our company are the narrow band synthesizers produced according to the channel uniquely.
3. The intelligent monitoring system of the transmitter adopts ARM as the main controller, and with 8” true color touch screen, having the advantages of advanced and strong control and display function. The system uses automatic control technology, detecting technology and PC network technology, supports local and remote monitoring. It has status memory function, when power on, the transmitter will back to work by loading the work parameters before
power-down; it also has the function of status real-time display, data inquiry, fault warning protection, automatic turn on/turn off, and integration management of all function modules. The transmitter can be connected to a computer in the monitoring station by the communication interface, to realize internetworking and data share of all machine rooms.
4. The power amplify unit is composed of 8 1500W power amplify plug-in modules, one 1:2 distributor, one 1:4 distributor, one 4:1 synthesizer and one 2:1 synthesizer. The power amplify plug-in modules has many protection measures such as stationary wave, over excitation and over heating. Good commonality, strong interchangeability, supporting hot plug. At the same time, as the power amplify plug-in module adopts complete seal design, the functions of dust proofing, moist proofing, salt fog resistance, electromagnetic radiation proofing are excellent, to ensure long time and stable working status. The final power amplifier adopts 16 newest FET BLF188XR of Netherland NXP. BLF188XR is the best VHF LDMOS tube with big high power and linearity, single tube can reach 1600W peak.
4. Adopting CPU controlled intelligent monitoring system, it has advanced and strong control and display function. The monitoring system adopts automatic control technology, detecting and PC network technology, supporting local and remote monitoring of the transmitting. The system can monitor the important parameters and operation status of each unit real-time. It also has the functions of failure logging, failure warning, and automatic switching of exciters.
5. Build-in intelligent monitoring system realizes centralized management, the touch screen can display the status and the status can be controlled via the screen, it supports intelligent fault diagnosis and parameter setting functions. Remote intelligent control can be realized via RS485\RS232\RJ45\GSM short message interface\GPRS wireless communication interface, this is a national patent. ² Strong Maintainability
1. Each of the PA is controlled by a microcomputer monitoring panel. The communication interface with the main monitoring unit is RS485. The output power, reflect power, unbalanced power, work temperature, work voltage and the tubes work currents of each power amplify plug-in module can be checked in the main monitoring unit. It also has a complete fault warning function, once any of the over heating, over-voltage, over-current, over excitation, over output SWR faults occurs, the status will be transmitted to the main monitoring unit, and the main unit will process protection measures according to the fault.
2. Power distributor and synthesizer are the important parts of the solid state transmitter, the transmitter mainly use 3dB synthesizer and Giselle synthesizer. Thus, both the advantages of small insertion loss of in-phase synthesis and high isolation of 3dB synthesis can be kept. (To make suitable for all kinds of environments, the synthesizer uses copper plate strip line form, a certain power capacity is reserved.)
3. Power amplify module supports hot-plug, adopts straight connectors, it supports the real hot-swap with electricity and power.
4. Basing on the second generation of the all solid state transmitter, the cooling of the transmitter is improved. By using new type inset radiator imported from Germany and reasonably designed air duct, the cooling effect is excellent, the in/out temperature difference is around 10℃. The EBM axial flow fan had large air flow and low noise.
